July Fun!

The end of June and beginning of July are some crazy times for our family. Madisen's b-day is June 26, Bayleigh's June 28, Mine July 1, Carli's July 3, plus the 4th of July! So with all that being said all I can say is we had some fun times! Carli and I decided to eat at Italian Village for our Birthday dinner then off to Mom and Dad's for our favorite fruit pizza! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLI! We love you! Mike put a little friend b-day party together that weekend with some great friends, thanks babe I love you so much! We then had the annual Sterner Family and Friend BBQ on the 4th. What a great summer so far... here are a few pics from the events.

I cannot believe a year has come and gone! Time flies when you're having fun, that's for sure! This past year has been our families best year of our lives. Everyday waking up to Bayleigh is the best thing that could have happened to us. She amazes us everyday and we love to watch her grow! She is getting so big it's kinda bitter-sweet. We LOVE you so much Bay-bay!!!

Madi's Birthday Bash

Madi turned 13 this year! Wow watch out teenage years here we come... Actually I think we've been there for awhile but this just makes it official! She decided to have a Swim party at Grammy and Papa's house. Friends, food, swimming, games, and presents!

We are so lucky to have Madi in our lives! We are so proud of you and love you so much!!! There is never a dull moment when she is around and is always keeping us going!

San Diego Trip

So this year Carli turned the big 3-0! She decided for her birthday to take a family trip to San Diego. It was SO much fun. We went to a Padre's game, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo! The kids loved all the animals at both places plus we got to have breakfast with some of the Sesame Street characters. It was such a fun trip and nice to do things we've never done before!

Sand Dune Trips

Since April we've had a few Dunes Trips! They are so fun now that we have our Rhino. I love the fact the whole family can hop in and go for a ride, but the best part is how much Bayleigh loves it! It is so dang cute to watch her react in the back!!!

Finally the time has come! This past Christmas Dawn bought everyone tickets to go see Wicked! Let me tell you I'm not one for movies or plays but I LOVED it! It was so good and for never seeing The Wizard Of Oz it still made sense and Mike and I both enjoyed it! Thank you so much Dawn it was AmAzInG!LOVED IT!!!

Mike's Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!

Yesterday was Mike's birthday and I think it turned out to be a pretty good day. Bayleigh and I took him lunch to work and while we were there his mom brought him cake for all the guys to share! It was quite the surprise. Then as tradition my parents take the whole fam out to eat wherever you choose for your day! So he ended up choosing Training Table, which I love their cheese fries! Good choice babe. Then back to my parents to open gifts and to eat some yummy cheesecake from Marie Calendar's another great choice! :) I just want to tell you how much I love you! You are an amazing husband and a great dad! We all love you so much and appreciate everything you do for us. Hope you had a Happy Birthday!

Picnic at the Park

On Ashley's Birthday we decided to take the kids to the park for our first picnic of the year! It was a lot of fun and a really nice day but unfortunately Hallie had Pre-school at 1 so we didn't have much time to play. So I'm sure we'll be going back real soon and hopefully Madi will be out of school so she can come too!

Willy Wonka Jr. Play

Madi was part of the Bennion Junior High play this year which was the Willy Wonka Jr. Play. After months of staying after school everyday they are done! She was an Oompa Loompa! So this past week we were able to go watch her perform. It was actually pretty dang good for a school play and we know Madi enjoyed being a part of it. Good job Madi we love you!

We had such a wonderful Easter this year! Madi did her egg hunt in the house and then we went to spend the day at the Sterner's. All the grand kids love the Easter Egg Hunt we do in the backyard and I can't wait till next year for Bayleight to be runnin' around with the rest of them! Cute baskets with their outfits!

Another great year of coloring Easter Eggs at Grammy and Papa's house! It's so fun to watch the kids get so creative with their eggs! Bayleigh's first experience with her egg was hilarious, I let her hold an egg and first it went to the mouth and then she smashed it and cracked it! She's a little monster I swear!!!

Bridal Shower

This past weekend my Mom and Sisters through me a BRIDAL SHOWER! I cannot tell you THANK YOU enough. It was so nice and I'm glad so many people were able to come. I got A LOT of good stuff for the house and some nice little outfits for Mike!! :) I just want to tell you how much I love my family and I am so thankful for all they have done for my wedding. As most of you know Bayleigh is a big girl which I wouldn't change for anything and I love it. But I must say it seems like she is getting too big too fast! Mike and I both knew it was time for her to move up out of her tiny car seat she was in before... so finally we did it! (Not to mention everyone teasing us about it) Both of us knew she needed to but were sad because that means she is growing up! We love you Bay-bay!!!

I know, I know I've been a slacker! Life has been pretty crazy between wedding plans, finishing, the basement, and day to day life with the kids! Although Mike did score us some free tickets to Rascal Flatts! So thanks to Grammy for watching Bayleigh we got a night out. It was a lot of fun and we finally hung out with Todd and M'lisa! Thanks guys!

Silly Girl

It's been forever since I've posted anything so I just wanted to share one of Bayleigh's faces! She is getting so big and is almost 9 months old. Time flies!!! We've been super busy with finishing our basement and planning the wedding. I'm going to start playing soccer again and our first game is this Saturday (pray for me!) I'm so out of shape this could be scary! I'll let you know how that goes. Madi finally is feeling better she had the flu this past weekend but is getting better. Then there's our silly Bay-bay she does something new everyday to amaze us. She is still getting use to eating food and it's hilarious to watch other than that she is still our very happy, talkative, little/big girl! haha

CoSMic BoWLinG

This past weekend we got together with the Burrow's and the Clarke's for a night out with the kids! We decided to go eat at Johnny Carino's then to Cosmic Bowling! It was a little crazy at dinner considering we had 6 adults, 3 kids, and 2 babies but it was fun. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun bowling. All the kids did so good but by about 12:00 I think they were all getting a little tired!This is Bayleigh at the beginning of the night...Dean, Madisen, Mike, and IThe guys... Kyle, Mike, Dean, and NickThe girls... Jessica, Ashley, Kasey, and MadisenChaz and Ashley not quite sure what's going on!

New Years Day

After a fabulous New Years Eve we had to follow it up with a fabulous New Years Day! We decided to take the kids tubing in Park City. A stop at Chili's for lunch and off we went. It was a lot of fun! I'd have to say the lines were kind of disappointing but all in all it was worth it! I think the kids enjoyed it.

It was so nice to just sit on our butts while they pulled us up the mountain! Not to mention it was fun at night they light up the mountain!

We had a wonderful New Years Eve!!! We went over to Dean and Jessica's hung out with their fam and the Clarke's! It was so nice to hang out let all the kids play while the adults played some Rock Band and Ping Pong. Thank you guys for having us over once again! 6 MONTHS

Our little girl is already 6 months old! We can't believe how fast time goes and the things she does day to day to amaze us. She is the happiest baby ever! Her new thing of the week is she loves to roll over and over again and scream while she is doing it. It's so dang cute. We love her so much!!!

The other night I was helping Madi put a game together while Bay was playing in her new jumper she was being kinda fussy for a minute and then stopped it got way quiet so I looked up and this is what I saw. I thought it was so cute so I had to take a picture then take her out so she could sleep a little bit more comfortably!!!

Christmas

Our family had an absolutely amazing Christmas this year! The kids got extremely spoiled from everyone! Thanks everybody we love you! Mike and I also had a couple surprises for each other so that was a lot of fun. We woke up opened presents, dropped Madi off at her mom's, went to the Sterner's for breakfast, off to the Green's, then back to the Sterner's it was a busy day that flew by way too fast but it was great!

Christmas Eve we always spend at the Sterner's! We have yummy fondue, open jammys, celebrate my Dad's Birthday, and watch Christmas Story. I absolutely love Christmas Eve all the kids were super excited this year and couldn't sit still! The food was delicious as always and we loved our jammys! Thanks mom and dad!

I LOVE YOU DAD!!!

My wonderful Dad's birthday happens to be on Christmas! So every year my family gets together on Christmas Eve for some family traditions and to celebrate his birthday! I just want to let my Dad know how much I love him. He has done so much for me in my life and now not only me but my family. We are all SO thankful for him! We love you so much and hope you had a great birthday!

Santa

Since it's Bayleigh's first Christmas she HAD to see Santa! Mike and I attempted to take her Sunday afternoon thinking it wouldn't be too busy. Obviously we were wrong and decided to come back another day. So Ashley and I decided to take all our kids on Christmas Eve while Mike and Nick had to work. After two hours of waiting in line and five kids we could honestly say it wasn't too bad!!!

Temple Square

Every year the Sterner family has made it a tradition to go downtown, get some food, and then head over to Temple Square to walk around and see the lights. I remember doing this since I was little! I love the fact even though our families are growing we still get together and go. We had a lot of fun!

Zoo Lights

Saturday night our family went to Zoo Lights! Dean, Jessica, and Peyton went with us and it was so much fun! We all got bundled up grabbed a small snack, some hot chocolate, and off we went. None of us had been before so we had no idea what to expect... it turned out to be pretty cool and the kids loved it!

After our not so enjoyable Thanksgiving, considering Bayleigh had gotten the flu on the Monday before and then Kasey got it on Thanksgiving then passing it on to both Grandmas, Grandpa, and Aunt Dawn! Sorry guys! We had the weekend to recuperate and got our Christmas decorations up. Me, Mike, and Bayleigh decorated the tree. Bay loved the lights... even though she still has no idea what is going on. It was way fun. We are so excited for her first Christmas! Madi unfortunately didn't want to join in on the fun! Missed ya.

Halloween

Halloween was SO much fun this year! It was Bayleigh's first big holiday and it was so fun to dress her up. Not that she loved it so much but I thought it was cute. I took her to visit Grammy and Dawn and work and then to Daddy's work. Then off to Grammy and Papa's for some yummy chili! Madi spent Halloween with her mom so we weren't able to get a lot of pictures of her. Luckily she went to visit Mike at work so he was able to get a few pics on his phone! She wanted to be a happy clown during the day and then she turned into a scary clown at night for Trick-or-Treating! Fun times!

Already 4 Months Old!

We took Bayleigh to her 4 Month check up yesterday and she is getting so big so fast! She is off the charts in height and in the 90th percentile in weight. The doctor said she looks great. We now get to start feeding her rice cereal. My baby is growing too fast! She is sleeping through the night and pretty much always has. (it's rough getting 10 hours of sleep) She is now trying to roll over. She is such a joy!

Our New Rhino

Since our family is expanding we sold two of our bikes and got us a Rhino! Of course Mike had to make some changes... So we painted it, put lights on it, and got new wheels and tires! Doesn't it look great! Not to mention it is a blast to ride in. Can't wait for Bayleigh to get big enough to go for a ride with the fam.

Bayleigh Emma Green was born Saturday, June 28th at 3:51 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz and

19 1/2 inches long! We couldn't be happier and the labor was all worth it!
